Pad mounted

Dry Transformer
Dry-type transformers for buildings, tunnels, and industrial plants where fire load and moisture resistance matter. VPI and cast-resin designs offer low smoke/toxicity, high short-circuit strength, and minimal maintenance.

Options include K-factor windings for non-linear loads, low-noise cores, IP/NEMA enclosures, and corrosion protection for coastal sites. Complies with UL/CSA and IEEE/IEC dry-type standards; factory heat-run and impulse tests available.

Designs meet DOE/NRCan efficiency and IEEE/IEC/CSA standards. Delivered with transport studies, factory acceptance tests, and site commissioning to accelerate energization and reduce lifetime losses and noise.

Cost- and footprint-efficient transformers for interconnecting transmission systems with close voltage ratios (e.g., 230/345 kV). Ideal for bulk power transfer, grid reinforcement, and generator step-up/step-down where regulation is required.

Optional tertiary windings support system stability and reactive compensation; neutral-grounding and protection schemes are integrated. Built to IEEE/IEC/CSA with full routine/type tests and tailored transport/installation plans.
